A fire broke out in Milford Wednesday morning at a garage detached from a home.
Residents at 18 River Edge Drive heard a popping noise from their one-car garage and saw smoke rising from the structure.
Flames were shooting from the roof when firfighters arrived.
The garage sustained heavy damage, but no one was injured.
Firefighters put out the flames and are not considering the incident suspicious.
The fire remains under investigation.
