Crews put out a large structure fire in East Haddam on Sunday night.

The fire broke out at a single-family home on Stockburger Road around 7 p.m. and was put out after an hour of crews responding to the scene.

The occupant of the home is currently in Pennsylvania and no one else was inside the home. No injuries were reported, the East Haddam fire chief said.

About 75 responders from five fire departments were at the scene, in addition to local and state fire marshals, the fire chief said.

    The cause is under investigation.
