Firefighters have responded to a fire on the old Norwich State Hospital property.
Firefighters from Laurel Hill, the City of Norwich and the Mohegan Tribe are at the scene. Officials said a three-story building is on fire.
The 388-acre property, which used to be home to the Norwich State Hospital, has been empty for two decades and The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority wants to develop the site.
