A line of strong thunderstorms are moving through Connecticut on Thursday afternoon.
Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for parts of the state, including New Haven, Fairfield, Litchfield, Hartford and Tolland counties at various points throughout the afternoon.
The storms brought heavy rains and gusty winds.
As the sun goes down this evening, the storm threat will diminish.
