NBC Connecticut Meteorologists are tracking moderate to heavy rain for your Sunday.
Rain continues through the afternoon, but the heaviest fell earlier in the day. There was some ponding and localized flooding on area roadways, but as the rain tapers to showers this afternoon, conditions will improve.
As the storm winds down, temperatures will remain mild. Highs will be in the 50s at the shore with cooler weather in northern CT.
After a mild Monday, temperatures will tumble through the 30s Tuesday and the remainder of the week.
