Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Bradley

Pilots declared an emergency after receiving a caution message.

A Delta Connection flight from Bradley Airport had to turn around and make an emergency landing during Saturday's snowstorm.

Shortly after takeoff around noon, pilots on Flight 4895 noticed a left wing caution message, according to Courtney Madden, a spokesperson for ExpressJet, which operated the flight. The pilots declared an emergency and returned to Bradley Airport. The flight was headed for Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.

The plane returned to the gate, and all 14 passengers exited the plane normally, Madden said. The passengers were placed on other flights.

There is no word on what caused the caution message.
