A former Wallingford teacher already charged with sexual assault was arrested again on Tuesday.
Middlebury police charged Mario Fusco Jr. with three counts of voyeurism and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
The new charges against Fusco, 35, of Middlebury, stem from an arrest in May after a girl accused him of sexually assaulting her over a period of five years, beginning when she was 14-years-old, police said.
He told police he had a relationship with the girl and that he was trying to help her feel good about herself, according to court documents.
Fusco was a teacher at Wallingford's Alternative High School when he was arrested in May, but is no longer employed there. The victim was not one of his students, according to court documents.
A hearing on the new charges agains Fusco will be held in Waterbury Superior Court on Wednesday.
