Get Ready for Free Hip Hop

Hip Hop is taking over Trinity College this weekend.

Look for a host of acts to hit the stage during the 5th Annual Trinity International Hip-Hop Festival in Hartford. The event kicks off at tonight at 9 p.m. in the Vernon Social Center.

KRS-One will headline the show, with performances by DAM, Toni Blackman, the ReMINDers, Wageble and DJ Nio. Toni Blackman hit it big, by sharing the stage with
Erykah Badu and Wu Tang. Also, watch for Shokanti to deliver his own unique blend of hip hop mixed with social commentary.

Once the pros leave the stage, anyone can have a shot at the mic! There will be an open-mic freestyle session at the end of the night. Best of all, the show is free.
