Glastonbury Restaurant Owner Charged With Sexual Assault

The owner of a Glastonbury restaurant is accused of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in his restaurant.

Police said 38-year-old Julian Rodriguez, of Glastonbury, owns Jalisco Restaurant in Glastonbury and he is accused of inviting a woman back to the restaurant and sexually assaulting her when she was unconscious from alcohol and/or drugs.

Rodriguez was arrested at his home and has been charged with first-degree sexual assault.

He posted bond and is due in court in Manchester on Sept. 27.

Rodriguez did not immediately return a message to the Associated Press seeking comment Monday. It's not clear if he has a lawyer who could respond to the allegations.
