Governor Visits Storm-Damaged Areas

As communities damaged by Superstorm Sandy assess the damage sustained, Gov. Dannel Malloy and Lt.Gov. Nancy Wyman are visiting the Southeastern Connecticut shoreline, one of the hardest hit areas, and speaking with residents.

Malloy held a news conference on Wednesday morning, then headed to Stonington.

From Stonington, he will head to view storm damage in New London, then to Clinton/Westbrook, Madison and Guilford.

Wyman is traveling to Trumbull, Fairfield, Milford and West Haven.

At 4 p.m., Malloy will hold a media briefing on storm recovery.

Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will meet with municipal officials today at the following times and locations to visit local residents and view storm damage from Hurricane Sandy.
