Hamden police have arrested a local man on child pornography charges.
Police arrested 58-year-old Anthony Deluise Monday. He is charged with possession of child pornography.
In January 2018 the Computer Crimes Unit began an investigation into child pornography that led them to search Deluise’s home on Sebec Street, police said. Officers seized multiple devices, including electronics. According to police, a search of them turned up more than 1,400 images and movie files of suspected child pornography.
Deluise was released on a $25,000 bond and is due in court on January 8.
