The City of Hartford was serious about enforcing its parking ban during the snowstorm last weekend.
Hartford traffic police issued almost 500 snow ban tickets.
The city was operating under a Level 2 parking ban, meaning no parking on city streets was allowed.
Residents were allowed to park in public school parking lots free of charge.
Police issued 498 tickets, which come with a $99 fine.
The city also towed 91 illegally parked vehicles.
Owners are responsible for daily storage fees.
