Police are investigating the shooting death of a 30-year-old man in Hartford as a homicide and they looking for the person who shot him. Police also said another victim was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.
Officers responded to the area of 31 Winchester St. Wednesday night after getting a ShotSpotter alert of several shots fired and the 30-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead, according to police.
Police said a second victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital by private vehicle. The name and condition of the second victim has not been released.
This was the second homicide in Hartford in a week. Over the weekend a man was shot and killed on Winship Street in the city's South End.
