Three men and a woman are in the hospital after a drive-by shooting on Hillside Avenue in Hartford Wednesday night and one of the victims is in critical condition, according to police.
Dispatchers received a shot spotter alert at 10:08 p.m. and several 911 calls reporting that multiple people had been shot, according to Assistant Chief of Police Rafael Medina.
Officers found several victims in a local bodega and police said they had gone into the establishment after the shooting.
The four victims, who are all from Hartford, were transported to Hartford Hospital. Police said one victim is in critical condition and the injuries the three others sustained are not life-threatening.
Investigators believe one or more of the victims were targeted.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division are investigating.
