West Hartford police responded to an unusual call this morning after a hawk carrying a squirrel crashed into the window of a house and started flying around inside this morning.
Police said they received a report of a hawk breaking the window of a home on Rillbank Terrace. It got inside and flew around until someone opened a sliding glass door and the animal flew out.
No information was available on how much damage the incident caused.
