Heat advisories were issued Sunday for Hartford,  Fairfield, Northern Middlesex, New Haven and Northern New London counties. A heat advisory is issued when the heat index reaches dangerous conditions.

Increasing humidity will make it feel even warmer and there is the possibility of severe storms in the evening.

After Monday, the dew point will taper off and give relief from the humidity.

Tuesday looks mostly sunny with highs in the low 90s. Wednesday also looks sunny with temps dropping slightly. By Friday temperatures will have dropped to the upper 80’s.
