Boy Brings Heroin to School

Police said the boy pulled heroin out of his stepdad's pockets.

Bridgeport police have arrested a man after his 5-year-old stepson brought 50 packets of heroin to school.

Police said that the boy wore Santos Roman's jacket to his kindergarten class on Monday and pulled the packets of drugs from the jacket's pockets. 

The teacher confiscated the drugs and told the principal, who called police.

Police said that Roman, 35, was arrested on Monday when he went to the Barnum School to pick up his stepson.

He was detained on $100,000 bail on risk of injury to a minor and drug charges.

The boy is now in the custody of  his grandmother.
