The football team at James Hillhouse Comprehensive High School in New Haven is showing Connecticut it’s never too early to start the season of giving.
Players gave away 45 turkeys to members of the community by handing out turkeys to the needy, according to Hillhouse football coach Reggie Lytle.
The event took place at the Floyd Little Athletic Center at in New Haven at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
“Giving out turkeys to the community,” said Lytle. “Teaching boys to be men, giving back to the community.”
