Police in West Hartford are investigating reports of an armed home invasion. It appears two suspects attempted to rob the occupants of a home on Whetten Rd. Friday. Both the occupants and suspects fled the scene.
During the investigation, police and SWAT teams shut down the road and nearby St. Joseph College. Most of the students at the school have left the campus for summer break.
At least one of the suspects was armed, police said. The search for the two intruders continues.
