Hugh Jackman Picks a Pumpkin

If you thought you saw Hugh Jackman next to you, picking apples in Easton on Tuesday, you're probably right.

Jackman, his wife and their two children made the 50-mile trek from Manhattan to Silverman’s Farm, where they blended in with Connecticut residents, except for the few people with telephoto lenses who captured the family’s day out on camera.

A couple of employees spotted Jackman, Irv Silverman, the owner of the farm, said, and he spoke with Jackman and his wife for a little bit.

The family visited the whole farm, picked apples and chose pumpkins, Silverman said.

For the most part, the actor who is performing in “A Steady Rain” on Broadway, was pretty incognito

Jackman’s wife bought several things in the country store, Silverman said.

“They are very nice people,” Silverman said.

The farm is no stranger to celebs stopping by. Martha Stewart and Ron Howard are among those who have shopped there, Silverman said.
