One person is dead after a crash on Interstate 91 Southbound in Rocky Hill on Monday night
Jessica Zderkiewicz, 23, of Newington, was ejected from the car and was killed.
Police said she was a passenger in a car driven by Richard Lewicki, 28, of Kensington.
Lewicki was in the left lanes of the four-lane highway between exits 23 and 24 when his car veered to the right and hit a car driven by Kevin Allen, 28, of East Haven, police said.
Lewicki’s car rolled over several times and Zderkiewicz was ejected, police said.
Lewicki suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital.
Allen was not injured.
State police are investigating.
Traffic was backed up for several hours after the crash.
