The nation again spent the week reeling from not one, but two mass shootings. The shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio were just 13 hours apart. The Halal butcher shop in Bloomfield that was at the center of a controversy after an escaped cow was slaughtered in a Home Depot parking lot, was the target of anti-Muslim graffiti. Suspect Found Dead

A murder suspect out on bond was found dead on the property of his Fairfield home after his GPS monitor stopped responding Tuesday, according to police. James Taylor was found in a shipping container. He was facing murder charges in the death of his ex-wife. For more on what happened, click here.
