Meriden Mom Found Dead
A body found in a wooded area in Waterbury is that of a missing Meriden mother. Perrie Mason was reported missing over the weekend. Her boyfriend, Jason Watson, was arrested in connection with a domestic violence incident involving Mason before she disappeared. Police did not say if they intended to add any charges against Watson. For more on the case, click here.
"A Living Nightmare"
The Connecticut father accused of killing a hotel worker in Anguilla spoke publicly for first time since the April ordeal, saying he and his family are victims. Scott Hapgood says he was protecting his daughters when a hotel worker came into their room when they were on the Caribbean island in April. Hapgood says the worker, Kenny Mitchell, had a knife and tried to rob them. Mitchell's friends say that isn't something Mitchell would do. An autopsy report showed Mitchell had cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol in his system. Hapgood returned to Anguilla this week for a court hearing. See more on the bizarre story here.

Animal Cruelty
A dog suffering from a severe skin condition and dehydration was abandoned in Hamden. Police said the dog, a Yorkshire Terrier mix that appeared to be around 3 years old, appeared to have been abandoned, couldn’t sit and was in a great deal of pain. The dog was suffering from a skin condition that may have been caused by a chemical or thermal burn. For more on the abandoned dog, click here.
Panty Raid
A man accused of breaking into his co-workers’ homes and stealing their underwear was in court in New Britain Tuesday. The alleged crime happened in August of last year, when police say they found a bag in the suspect’s car with 17 pairs of women’s underwear inside. Police say Robert Brown broke into a co-worker's house and took her underwear. The woman noticed Brown in the home when she was alerted by her home security system and checked the camera, police said. See why two women are now suing their employer over the alleged crimes.
Valuable Money
A Massachusetts man is hoping to get back a $50 bill given to him by his grandparents more than two decades ago. Ryan Dubray had kept the bill, which his grandparents had signed, in his wallet for emergency spending. That emergency came on a trip home from Myrtle Beach, but it wasn't the type of emergency he'd ever though he would have to use it on. After the $50 bill was gone, Dubray became sad and posted on Facebook with the hope that someone would realize they have the bill and return it to him.
