State police have identified the man killed in a three-car accident on Route 202 in New Hartford Friday. Police have also identified a woman who was seriously injured in the crash.
The accident occurred on the Litchfield Turnpike at 6:35 p.m.
Police have identified the deceased driver of one vehicle as Bruce Anderson, 70, of Glastonbury.
Another driver, identified as Janelle Sara Mattson, 20, of Winsted was transported to Hartford Hospital via LifeStar for serious injuries.
The driver and passengers of a third vehicle were sent to the hospital via ambulance for minor injuries.
The road was closed for almost five hours while police investigated the crash but is now open.
Police say the accident remains under investigation.
