MA Town Distances Itself from Police Chief

After a CT boy died from an Uzi, Pelham is stepping away from police chief

The town of Pelham, Mass. is distancing itself from its police chief after the death of a Connecticut boy at a gun shoot.

Christopher Bizilj, 8, died after shooting an Uzi Sunday at the show, which was sponsored by a company run by Edward Fleury, the Pelham Police Chief.

Pelham town selectmen released a statement saying Fleury was not acting as a town employee at the time of the shooting. The Bizilj family held a private funeral Thursday for Christopher.
