Malloy: “I'm the Anti-Christie”

The verbal sparring between Gov. Dannel Malloy and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie continued on Thursday.

"I supposed I'm the anti-Christie", Malloy said during a news conference.

Wednesday, while talking about Malloy's plan to raise taxes, Christie told MSNBC that he would be waiting at the New Jersey border to welcome taxpayers as they left Connecticut.

Malloy softened his rhetoric a bit later in the news conference. "Listen, I like New Jersey. It's a wonderful state. Their governor has to be their governor. I have to be the governor here. Let me assure you that when everything is said and done, our taxes will be substantially lower than in New Jersey."
