Man Climbs in Drive Through Window Robs Restaurant

The masked man climbed into the drive through window and held an employee at knifepoint.

Naugatuck police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a masked man who climbed into the drive through window of a McDonalds and held a knife to an employee’s neck.

The man broke into the restaurant on New Haven Road shortly before 3 a.m. on Tuesday then led the worker into a back office where he took cash out of the safe police said.

The suspect got out the same way he came in. In surveillance pictures issued by police the robber is seen squeezing back through the drive through window and taking off with the money.

Some customers say a revolving window would make it harder for someone to break in. “I'm disappointed in my fellow man,”Alfred Ulozaz of Naugatuck said of the incident.
“There are better ways to get money and to terrorize the people, they'll live with this for the rest of their lives,” Ulozaz went on to say.

The suspect is described as six feet tall with a thin build. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to contact Naugatuck police at 203-729-5222.
