Man Convicted in Love Triangle Killings

Police say Jokshan Bryant shot Brown because both men dated Tammy Marin, 40, of Bristol.

Jokshan Bryant, of New Britain, has been found guilty of manslaughter in a gruesome love-triangle slaying case in which two men’s bodies were left on highway exit ramps of Connecticut highways.

Ronald Brown, 42, of Bristol, and Eric Kimberly, 37, of Torrington, were killed at S.L.S. Transport in Bristol in 2008 and their bodies were dumped off Interstate 384 in Manchester and Bolton.

Police say Bryant shot Brown because both men dated Tammy Marin, 40, of Bristol, and beat Kimberly to death.

According to court papers, Tammy Marin helped with the cleanup and also called Brown before the crimes to let him know she was with Bryant at S.L.S. Transport, in Bristol, where the slayings took place. She told police she had no idea he would show up there.

She was charged with tampering with physical evidence, hindering prosecution, conspiracy to tamper with evidence and conspiracy to hinder prosecution.

Police also charged Steven Manocchio, of Bristol, with murder and additional charges. He is due in court on April 30.

Michael Bondi, of West Haven, was charged with conspiracy to tamper with evidence and conspiracy to hinder prosecution. He pleaded not guilty.

Jason Protinick, of West Haven, was charged with conspiracy to tamper with evidence and conspiracy to hinder prosecution.

Susanne Wallace, of Bristol, was charged with tampering with physical evidence, hindering prosecution, conspiracy to hinder prosecution and conspiracy to tamper with evidence.
