Man Fed Up With Public Urination Is in Hot Water

After confronting offenders, he's arrested himself

Police said James Clifford was angry when he discovered a group of young men urinating on his street early Sunday morning.

So, the 18-year-old confronted the group, but ended up the one under arrest, the Greenwich Time reports.

By the time police showed up, most of the crowd had cleared.

Of those left, Clifford was one of two men carrying outside of 56 Weaver St., police said. He had a hammer a metal folding knife and an Airsoft pistol, and was in possession of marijuana, police said.

Clifford was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of less than four ounces of marijuana. He was unable to post the $250 bond and was placed in a cell, pending a court appearance on July 5.
