A Naugatuck man pointed a fake gun at his 21-year-old stepson and fired a blank on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Police responded to a home on Spring Street to investigate a domestic disturbance and say Ray Rodriguez, 34, of Naugatuck, got into an argument with his stepson and fired a blank round during it.
Children were home at the time and police have charged Rodriguez with second-degree threatening, brandishing a facsimile firearm, second-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a child and breach of peace.
Rodriguez was held on a $100,000 bond and he is due in court today.
