Police ID Bristol Man Killed in Rollover Crash in Avon



    A Colon Cancer Patient Gets the Right Care at the Right Time

    Police have identified the man who was killed after a rollover crash in Avon on Friday night.

    Officers were called to a rollover crash on Waterville Road shortly before 7:30 p.m.

    When crews arrived, they said they found a 2002 black Dodge Durango that had gone over the guardrail and went down a steep embankment, stopping by the wood line.

    The vehicle was not occupied when it was found, according to police.

    Officers used thermal imaging and found the driver, later identified as 41-year-old Steven S. Ouellette, of Bristol, in the woods unresponsive with severe trauma to his head and upper body.

    Ouellette was transported to UConn Medical Center, where he later died.

    The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad responded and is investigating the crash.
