Police and firefighters responded to Currier Place in Cheshire Friday morning after a man who was working to cut down a branch above him was pinned by a tree.
Police said the man was working at an apartment complex and was trapped in the bucket of a vehicle.
He was unconscious for about 30 seconds, but alert when officers arrived and told crews that his legs were numb, officials said.
Firefighters were able to free the man and he was able to stand on his own.
He was taken to Saint Mary’s Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
