Milford police have arrested a West Haven man who is accused of pointing a gun at a woman, pulling the trigger and telling her he could kidnap her.

Police have charged 31-year-old Darwin Martinez, West Haven, with threatening in the first degree, breach of peace in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Police said Martinez is accused of threatening a woman he was dating and it happened in the parking lot of the Gulf Beach on Feb. 8.
