A Milford man was arrested after stealing almost $2,500 worth of cigarettes from a local variety store, police said.
Police responded to Bobby G’s variety store, at 40 Naugatuck Avenue, on Oct. 12 after receiving a report of a burglary.
After investigating, they obtained an arrest warrant for David Paul, 31, of Milford, who is accused of damaging the door and taking $2,495 worth of cigarettes from the store.
He has been charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief.
Paul was held on $150,000 bond. It’s not clear if he has an attorney.
