Manchester police took two burglary suspects into custody Friday afternoon.
A witness saw two men break into a home at 210 Keeney Street at 3:30 p.m. and called police. A handgun was stolen from the house, according to police.
Keeney Street Elementary School was locked down while police searched the area for the suspects. Officers arrested the pair shortly before 5 p.m.
The school lockdown was lifted after the suspects were apprehended, according to the school superintendent.
Police were still searching for the stolen handgun Friday evening.
