A Maryland native was arrested in Bridgeport on Wednesday in connection with a serious stabbing that happened in August.
According to police, 18-year-old Andre Johnson confronted the new boyfriend of his child’s mother on Aug. 27 in Beltsville, Md. The two began to fight, and police say Johnson stabbed the man repeatedly in the abdomen and torso.
Investigators learned that Johnson may have been staying with a relative on Brooks Street in Bridgeport and arrested him today, police said.
He’s charged with attempt at second-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault, among other offenses.
