Accused Peeping Sensei Faces More Charges

Police say Guilford martial arts studio owner is no Mr. Miyagi

The owner of a Guilford self-defense studio, who was arrested in May and accused of peeping on his employees and a student, now faces more voyeurism charges.

Joseph Moscatelli, 43, who owns the United Studios of Self Defense at 631 Boston Post Road and another studio in Branford, was originally taken into custody on May 28 and charged with two counts of voyeurism and one count of risk of injury to a minor.

On Sunday, police charged Moscatelli with two additional voyeurism charges.

The charges stem from several videos that Moscatelli had of employees and an underage student undressing , police said.

Moscatelli is being held on $500,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned at New Haven Superior Court on June 8.
