Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Bridgeport grocery store.
Three masked men entered Boston Avenue Grocery, at 2063 Boston Avenue, around 8 p.m. Monday, then headed for the cash register. Police said the men were armed with handguns.
One jumped the counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and lottery machine, according to police. The suspect also took a carton of Newport cigarettes.
No serious injuries were reported, but one customer was kicked during the incident, police said.
Bridgeport police are working to identify the suspects.
