Milford Cop Due in Court in Connection With Fatal Crash

On Monday night, the Milford Board of Police Commissioners postponed making a decision on the status of a cop accused of killing two teens in a crash in June.

One Tuesday, Milford police officer Jason Anderson was in court on charges stemming from that Route 1 crash and his case was continued to Jan 13.

Anderson was driving his cruiser 94 mph when he collided with a car carrying two Orange teens, according to a state police investigation. Both teens were killed.

He's has been charged with manslaughter in the deaths of David Servin, the driver of the other car, and Ashlie Krakowski, who was ejected after the crash.

When Anderson was in court two weeks ago, his attorney warned that the videotape doesn't tell the entire story. Anderson's lawyer has said that he will be pleading not guilty to the manslaughter and reckless driving charges.

On Monday night, the Milford Board of Police Commissioners was supposed to decide Anderson's fate as a cop but they put that decision off until next week.

Anderson remains suspended with pay.
