Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on I-91 in Windsor

A 48-year-old man from Maine was seriously injured after his motorcycle collided with a Toyota Corrolla on Interstate 91 northbound in Windsor on Thursday afternoon.

Police said Steven Bizeau was riding his motorcycle northbound on I-91 near exit 40 when he pulled up behind Jeanne Sagan's Toyota and the two collided.

The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to police, Bizeau was thrown from his motorcycle and landed in the roadway. He suffered facial injuries and was taken to Saint Francis Hospital for treatment. Police said Bizeau was wearing a helmet.

His condition is unknown, but police described Bizeau's injuries as incapacitating.

The driver of the Toyota, Jeanne Sagan, of Springfield, Mass., was not injured, according to police.

Authorities are investigating the accident.
