A Jewett City man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Bolton on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Connecticut State Police, 47-year-old Gary Stringer was riding his motorcycle on Steeles Crossing Road around noon. Investigators believe that as Stringer came around a curve near the intersection with Route 6, his vehicle crossed over the double yellow line, striking an SUV traveling the opposite direction head-on.
Stringer suffered fatal injuries. The occupants of the SUV were not hurt.
This is the second serious motorcycle crash in Bolton within the last two days.
The crash remains under investigation.
