Thirty students on a school bus in Clinton were sickened by a mystery odor Thursday.
Officials from Joel Elementary School officials called 911 after the students arrived at the school just before 9 a.m. and complained they felt sick.
Police, fire and EMS units from Clinton, Guilford, Madison, Killingworth, Westbrook and Old Saybrook all rushed to the school. They examined the students and determined they were all OK.
Clinton police and bus company officials are now looking into whether the cause of the odor was something on the bus or caused by a mechanical problem.
