New Britian police are investigating a murder Friday night.
Police were called to 54 Winter Street because a car reportedly crashed into other cars in a parking lot.
Police discovered a the driver with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain Campus where he was pronounced dead.
Police believe the man may have been shot near North Street and Clark Street and lost control of the car. The vehicle traveled roughly one block before coming to a complete stop.
The victim's identity has not been released, but police say he is a 21-year-old man from New Britain.
Police are asking for anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
