Where Are the Wood Pellets?

Customers Say Wood Pellet Company Has Not Delivered

An Enfield wood pellet company accused of leaving customers out in the cold still hasn't made all of its deliveries, customers said.

Some customers of New England Pellet claim they've paid for wood pellets but have yet to receive them.

Thomas Passcantell is one of dozens of customers who said they've been burned. He worries he may never see his pellets.

Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal said he'll do everything he can to make sure that's not the case.

“We fight for people when they have nowhere else to turn. This business has left them without the source of heat they need as we enter the coldest part of the year,” Blumenthal said.

Blumenthal said he might subpoena the owner if his questions aren't answered soon.

New England Pellet has hired an attorney. The owner has not returned NBC Connecticut's calls.
