New London police are searching for two suspects in an armed street robbery Friday night.
Police said around 9:30 p.m. the victim reported being robbed by two male suspects in the area of Reed Street and Blinman Street. The victim told police that one of the suspects showed a gun and that the pair stole $570 off him during the incident.
One suspect is described as around 5-foot-6 with an average build and scruffy facial hair and the second is only described as being “average size.”
A K9 attempted to track the suspects but was unsuccessful.
