A 50-year-old Brewster, New York woman was killed in a crash on Route 37 in Sherman on Wednesday night.
Greg Santana, 47, of Brewster, New York, lost control of the 2005 ML350 Mercedes around a sharp curve just after 11:30 p.m., went off the road and hit the guardrail and a tree, police said.
Sonya Santana-Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car sustained heavy damage, police said. Witnesses are asked to call State Police, Troop A at 203-267-2200.
