The man was stabbed in the chest in a McDonald’s parking lot, police said.
Newington police are investigating a stabbing in a fast food restaurant parking lot early Monday morning.
A male called Newington police from a home at 1:20 a.m. to report that he was with a friend who had just been stabbed in the parking lot of McDonald’s at 2375 Berlin Turnpike.
When police responded to the home, they found a man suffering from several stab wounds on his chest.
An ambulance transported the victim to Hartford Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police are looking for two men who left the scene in a dark SUV last seen traveling west on East Robbins Avenue. They do not know the make or model.
