If you're planning to go for a walk along Derby’s Greenway, don’t bring your four-legged friend.
On Thursday night, the board of alderman voted to ban dogs from the path, but service dogs will still be able to roam on a leash.
The ban takes effect within the next 30 days.
If you’re caught with Fido on the Greenway it could cost you, the fine is $75.
Four-legged friends are banned because residents have complained for years that owners didn’t clean up after their pets.
