Norwalk firefighters knocked down a large garage fire Tuesday night.
Fire officials said the department responded to the fire at 26 Point Road around 10:36 p.m. When they arrived they found the 3-car garage fully involved.
There was a good deal stored in the garage, and the fire took 23 firefighters about half an hour to put out. Two cars parked in the garage, a golf cart, and some stored furnishings were all destroyed. The neighboring home was not damaged and no injuries were reported.
Fire inspectors are investigating the cause of the fire.
