Norwich Police say a 19 year old is in critical condition after after being shot Saturday night.
Police say they responded to the area of Central Avenue at Sixth Street for a report of gunshots fired in the area.
When officers arrived at the location 19 year old Keshon Elliot was found lying in the roadway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
American ambulance responded and transported Elliott to William Backus Memorial Hospital but later transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where he ids now listed in critical condition.
Police are still looking for the suspect involved in the shooting of Elliot.
Norwich Police Detective Division is conducting the investigation with the assistance of the Connecticut State police Major Crimes Squad.
